Introduction to the series - Sep 10, 2017
The word “Normal” is defined as, conformity to a stated or expected standard. God’s normal for us as Christians is that we be conformed to the image and likeness of his Son. We draw our understanding of “normal Christianity” from the Christ of Christ-ianity, in his words, works and ways.
Overcoming Fear - Oct 1, 2017
The spirit of fear and intimidation can cause us to neglect, underestimate and undervalue that gift in us. We look at what the Scriptures have to say concerning living our lives out of the reality of “the fear of God” in contrast to “the fear of man.” Someone once said, “You serve the one you fear.” David says, “The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Ps. 27:1)
Overcoming Unbelief - Oct 8, 2017
Jesus was amazed by the lack of faith (the unbelief) of the people in his home town. Unbelief is one of the biggest blocks to the free move of the Spirit in us and through us. Unbelief keeps us from experiencing the fullness of what God has prepared for us to step into and has a widespread influence beyond just our own lives.
Who We Are (Knowing Our Identity) - Oct 15, 2017
It is important to know who God says we are. When Christians get revelation of who they really are in Christ, they become an unstoppable force.
Who God Is (Enlarging Our Vision) - Oct 22, 2017
In order to live a naturally supernatural life, it is important to have a revelation in our hearts about the true nature of God, who he is and what he is like. It’s different to knowing who God is in your head. It’s vital to know in the depths of your being that God is first and foremost a God of love and cannot ever be anything other than good.
The Gift Of Healing - Jan 14, 2018
Jesus showed what the Kingdom of God is like. God is interested in every aspect of our lives and He set people free physically, spiritually and mentally. He has given us authority and power to do likewise. We have the privilege of seeing Him work in and through us to bless those who are in need.
The Gift Of Discernment - Jan 21, 2018
Perceiving spiritual realities. How do we see what we can't see naturally in order to live out the 'normal' Christian life that we are called to live. This is integral to our ability to be able to pursue and work in those things that God is blessing, aligning ourselves with the spiritual realities of His advancing Kingdom.
The Gift Of Prophecy - Jan 28, 2018
Central to the purpose of prophecy is always to connect people's hearts to God's heart. It's a passion to have people experience the heart of God. We are encouraged to "earnestly desire" this gift in order that we can speak to people for their strengthening, encouragement and consolation.
