Who cares? Please help us!
What hurts you the most? What aspect of life do you find most difficult to deal with? Some of the churches in Caerphilly are conducting a short, simple survey, to find the answers to these questions, and to look for ways to support people in the community during this difficult time. If you can help please watch the video above and then answer the question anonymously.
We hope to publish the results over the next couple of months, and give ideas of how we could support people in the community. Thank you!
Christmas dates for your diary:
1) Wed 9th Dec @8pm – Christmas Go Live
This will be the 5th of our Go Live’s and this one will ask “Will this year still be a very Merry Christmas?”
This Christmas might look different but we believe the message is still the same.
2) Sat 12th – Christmas Quiz Evening - bring a drink and invite a friend.
Just because we can’t have a Christmas meal this year, doesn’t mean we can’t get together and have some fun!
Invite friends and family to join with us over Zoom.
3) Sunday 20th Dec in the afternoon we will bring you carols and nativity streamed Live from streets and popular places.
We can’t meet face-to-face at present, but there are many ways you can still join with us:
Wellbeing groups have started - be part of the next one
This is a difficult time for lots of different people for lots of different reasons. We are offering wellbeing courses for anyone who feels it might help them.
Kintsugi' (金継ぎ) is a Japanese technique for repairing pottery with seams of gold. This repairs the brokenness in a way that makes the object more beautiful. Instead of hiding the scars it makes a feature of them.
This course gives an opportunity to get together with others and discuss topics like anxiety, anger, honesty, resilience, disappointment and loss in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
It's a six week course that can be extended to another 6 weeks if interested. Contact us using the phone or email details below to join one of our next courses.
We believe in the power of prayer!
We are living in challenging times, where many people are living in fear and with anxiety of what the future holds. As Christians we don't know what the future holds but we know who holds the future.
If you would like us to pray for you at this time then please email us at email@example.com or text/call 07719 356240.
