The Love Of God

Our God is a God of love. He is love. His relationship with us is based on love. His love challenges us to love others as he loves us. Jesus said "love one another as I have loved you." We need to have God's love infuse us and flood our relationships. It is only in and through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can do this.
Righteousness Of God

We can carry wounds from experiences in life where we feel betrayed and let down by broken promises. So can we trust God and his promises and live in the experience of those being real and true? God is righteous - which literally means "to do right by someone". His righteousness compels him to do right by us because there was a place where God's justice and mercy met - through the death and resurrection of Jesus who became our righteousness.
The Grace Of God - Sep 15, 2019
God is gracious. He is full of grace. God's grace is the free and unmerited/unearned favour of God. It's free but it's worth everything. It is priceless. It gives us life as we were meant to live it. It give us God's shalom - a peace that no other can - free from insecurity and fear. Free from the destructive influence of sin. God's grace gives us the fullness of a relationship with Him on a day to day, life changing basis.

Jesus has called us to live differently. His values and ways, which should be ours, are not the world's values and ways. We can't do this in our own strength. Our good Good has given us the Holy Spirit to live within us. He transforms us from the inside, enabling us to live with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control in a world which is sorely lacking in these. Living this way changes us and those around us.

Jesus says that the Kingdom of God is like a treasure, that once, found is worth giving up everything for. A relationship with God is precious! It is worth everything. God gave up everything for us. Where are you at on your journey of faith? Are you treasure hunting - Jesus says seek Him and you will find Him, have you found the treasure and buried it, or are you pursuing Jesus wholeheartedly? He demands and deserves nothing less!
God Reaching Out To Us and Through Us - Nov 24, 2019
What is it that causes people to become Christians? It's the love of God reaching out to us! He reaches out before we are even ready to reach up to him. He came down from heaven leaving his throne in order to have a relationship with us. We have a God who loves us unconditionally. He speaks truth and love into our lives. He's a good Father. There is nothing like experiencing God's love, forgiveness and life.
