The word “Normal” is defined as, conformity to a stated or expected standard. God’s normal for us as Christians is that we be conformed to the image and likeness of his Son. We draw our understanding of “normal Christianity” from the Christ of Christ-ianity, in his words, works and ways.

We look at what the Scriptures have to say concerning living our lives out of the reality of “the fear of God” in contrast to “the fear of man.” Someone once said, “You serve the one you fear.” David says, “The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Ps. 27:1)

Jesus was amazed by the lack of faith (the unbelief) of the people in his home town. Unbelief is one of the biggest blocks to the free move of the Spirit in us and through us. Unbelief keeps us from experiencing the fullness of what God has prepared for us to step into and has a widespread influence beyond just our own lives.

It’s different to knowing who God is in your head. It’s vital to know in the depths of your being that God is first and foremost a God of love and cannot ever be anything other than good.

The Gift Of Prophecy
