Hi my name is Rafael de Souza I come from Rio de Janeiro Brazil. I first travelled to Wales in 2005, and stayed in a village called Abertridwr I was on a mission there for 1 year and in that time I learned a lot about Welsh culture and the difference between Wales and Brazil. In this time we set up ‘CLUB 707’, which is a monthly youth event. At the end of that year I returned to Brazil, a few months later I was invited to visit Wales again in 2007, this time to Cowbridge to be a youth worker. I was the pastoral youth worker there for over a year, helping to set up and run youth events and youth clubs including Club 707. I have now come to Gateway Church to help and support the youth, to ignite their passion for God and learn more about Him.
