We believe in…
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things.
He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. We believe he was raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now acts as the only mediator between God and people.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, as the third person of the Trinity. His role is to convict people of their need for the forgiveness of Christ.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired word of God and is therefore as relevant today as it has ever been. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. It is fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
We believe that the Bible is the main way that God communicates with us. It’s a vital part of how we grow in our relationship with Him. Because the Bible is more than just a book, it’s the living, active word of God – we’re transformed when His Spirit helps us understand and apply Biblical truths to our everyday life.
We believe that church is neither boring nor irrelevant! Church is a place where people come together to worship God, support and encourage each other and demonstrate how God intended people to live in community.
We believe that God wants to help us become more like him us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe in you! We believe that you were created in the image of God and that he loves you and accepts you just the way you are.
We believe that God has a good plan for your life and he will reveal that to you if you are willing and ready to seek Him.
We believe that as individuals, as a church and as churches working together, we should make a difference in the community in which we live. We are committed to resourcing, funding and participating in programmes and activities which are of community benefit.
